On this edition of Beards on MMA, we're joined by "The Gremlin" Joshua Sampo. Fresh off his successful UFC Debut in November, Sampo is immediately back in training camp for a tough fight against former Bellator Bantamweight Champion Zach Makovsky. Sampo's sights have also been on Ian McCall, looking toward the possibility of a mustache vs. mustache match at some point in the future.
We'll talk to the Gremlin about his UFC success, his unusual nickname, and whether his training partners and students have to struggle to keep water from falling on him for fear of meeting their untimely death.
We'll then talk about UFC: Rockhold vs. Phillipou. Last week's guest Isaac Vallie-Flagg fights on the card, as does Sampo and Cutman Matt's friend and training partner Alp Ozkillic.

Beards on MMA will be kicking off the New Year by featuring two of Michigan's toughest natives, UFC new comer, Kevin Lee and former Strikeforce and current UFC badass, Issac Vallie-Flagg!
Kevin Lee (7-0) will make his promotional debut against former TUF cast member, Al Iaquinta (7-2-2) at UFC 169. We'll talk to Kevin about his metoeric rise into MMA and what it means to him to be offered this matchup against a well rounded and respected New Yorker, Iaquinta.
Then we'll be visted again by (14-3-1) UFC Lightweight and friend of Beards on MMA, Isaac Vallie-Flagg. Isaac is on a 5 fight Win Streak and is slated to matchup against Elias Silverio (9-0-0) at UFC Fight Night 35 this January the 15th.
We'll find out what Ike has been up to as far as recovering from his injury and subsequent surgery. What does one do with all of that down time? Lets find out!

On this episode of Beards on MMA, we go off the rails with Bellator star Brian "The Predator" Rogers. Rogers. One of the best dressed fighters will join us to sound off on everything from his storied career with Bellator to which was the coolest death in the movie from which he takes his nickname (Jesse Ventura's maybe?)
Rogers is also friends and training partners with Jessica Eye and Stipe Miocic, both of whom have found success this year in the UFC. We also had the pleasure of having Stipe on the show earlier this year, where we tried to brand him with a nickname, but it didn't work.
We'll then close out by chatting briefly about the World Series of Fighting 7 and Nick Newell's future, and the upcoming UFC on Fox 9 card this weekend in Sacramento, as we eye big fights for show friends Patrick Healy, Alp Ozkilic and Scott Jorgensen, and a huge weekend for Duane Ludwig, who may as well stay cageside since just about every fight involves Team Alpha Male.
This promises to be one of the most random and most memorable episodes in Beards on MMA history. We guarantee it.

On this episode of Beards on MMA, we welcome the UG's favorite referee, the steel horse riding cowboy Jason Herzog. Has a bad word ever been said about Herzog and his reffing? If so, it's been hidden pretty well. We'll talk to Herzog about his status as royalty among mortals, and on a serious note, honing the craft of fine refereeing in a profession under constant scrutiny.
We'll then chat about MMA's international debuts this weekend. The World Series of Fighting invades Western Canada for the first time this Saturday, less than 24 hours after the UFC debuts in Brisbane Australia. What is some of the excitement that we can expect from both sides of the Pacific Rim this weekend?
That, and we announce the winners of No Shave November!

Stephanie's appearance is brought to you by the Mod Cabin, proud sponsors of both her and Beards on MMA.
The hosts will then get into Bellator 109, including Alexander Shlemenko's impressive victory over Doug Marshall, and 2 very impressive tournament wins by Rick Hawn and Will Brooks.

We'll talk to them about the Bearded Brotherhood, what led to the creation of the film, and why why having a beard is worth the trouble. How can you get your hands on the movie? We'll discuss all that with them and find out where you Canadians can watch this upcoming week.
Then, the hosts will talk about the events of Bellator 107 and the upcoming Bellator 108, as well as UFC Fight Night: Belfort vs. Henderson and the upcoming UFC 167.

On this episode of Beards on MMA, we welcome the voice of Bellator Fighting Championships, the incomparable Michael C. Williams. The Voice will come into Beardland to discuss his talents, favorite moments in Bellator, and everything else outside of MMA (since that's what we do afterall.) We'll also find out whether he's a participant in No Shave November. We'll also stop in here to chat about Bellator 106 on Saturday.
After that, we're visited by the Mod Cabin's Chris Crawford. A proud sponsor of Beards on MMA, Chris has been working on some new and innovative beard care products with his wife Cori, and we'll chat fights with him, his amazing products and he'll even be launching a brand new, never before seen product live with us. How about that? What have they concocted for care of your beard?
Lastly, we might do a preview for UFC Fight for the Troops on Wednesday time time dependent.

Tonight on Beards on MMA, we bring on Beards on MMA family member, and leader of the Sailor Gang Cody Garbrandt. Affiliated with Strong Style MMA, and now out West with Team Alpha Male, Cody is set to enter the cage on November 27th for the first time in a year when he faces Shane Manley.
Recovering from a couple injuries, we'll catch Cody's perspective on training out West, his upcoming fight, and what exactly the Sailor Gang is!
We'll then talk about the new look Bellator event this weekend, from the cancellation of the Pay Per View and shuffling around of the event to Spike TV.
Lastly, we'll close out with something nonsensical. That's what we do. Just remember that 92 times out of 40, it works 107% of the time.
